The last boss is bad.
its not well thought out from a game play perspective theres no health regen unlesss you invested in the regen perk ,it doesn't make use of your unlocks like flash or EMP its just a giant bullet sponge its not even that fun to fight just frustrating.

It's pretty easy yeah, I was expecting it to be a hard battle but the ai is very simplistic and predictable, where in the second movie that beast was a serious threat.

There're health pick ups in the final boss fight you just have to run around and find them. I thought the final boss fight was both fun and impressive. The AI isn't the most sophisticated, sure, but I don't think it needs to be. Remember, in the second movie he was no genius. He was just an enraged junkie. His entire strategy was always nothing more than brute force. Shoot the target, or run up and pummel it. That's about all he ever did in the movie so i feel like the game did the boss fight pretty fair justice, considering that it was almost identical to the second movie's final boss fight.

Too much health, kind of drags on.

I enjoyed it. I played on hard so I had to redo it several times due to mistakes and learning things, like the grenade launchers lying about. It's nothing complicated, but most things are not made better by making them complicated, as they then become complicated.

The Auto 9 with the 3.2 PCB(?) card carried me through the game easily up until the final boss fight. I got close several time to ending it but after several hours I was about to call it quits. But I had a inspiration and upgraded to the 4.3 card that has full auto and large increase in damage and a much larger capacity.
I went through the "old man" boss like a hot knife through butter. The first 2 "rounds" I just stood my ground after the cut scene and unloaded several hundred rounds into his butt. The final "round" I had to do a couple of side steps but nailed him pretty quickly. No "system failures" with that card .

The final battle is as easy as piss.

All the boss battles are very easy if you use cover.

It also helps that the AI is as thick as pig :repoop:. When you 1st fight a ED-209, I just stood behind a head high crate and repeatedly shot it in it's weakspot.

Vans are the bane of all the bosses.

What? I played the game on normal. By the time I reached the last boss I had max combat, armor, and about 60% vitality and engineering.

Used mostly only the sidearm to dispose of him, throwing the occasional item.
Took him out first try and only needed to heal once; and I don't consider myself that particularly good.

I didn't realize you could do that. That fight for me was a lot tougher than Tha final boss fight.
I also cheesed the second ED-209 :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

I found it pretty easy, I didn't even use all my health packs. The hardest one I had was the first ED-209 fight.

I loved it.
Yes it was on the simple side, but I have no issue with it. Loved seeing the Old Man in Robocop 2 chasis. Fun last battle even on Extreme, didn't die once fighting him.

I liked it alot. It was a cool spectacle and managed to be pretty dynamic with blowing the holes in the floor and whatnot. I don't think it's necessarily an "easy" fight either, but rather, you probably just had fully upgraded combat skills and an infinite ammo + autofire auto 9 (which melts every other enemy in the game too, btw)
