Looks like a lighting issue, during more light the armor is blue, but shadowed pieces have purple tint and it becomes more obvious in darker areas.

Edit: It's sometimes even worse during daylight.

its not the best really bad seeing as thay charge for it AND when you realise it should be the base skin seeing as the game takes place between robocop 2 and 3.

that's my fort to also the battle-damaged skin is a bit naff till the end game where it sort of worked. Also why not a free blue battle-damaged skin if you have the 2 dlc's.

It shouldn't be the base skin, it should be the iconic grey look, despite the time period. I'm here for the iconic badassness.

Either way, it's not very movie accurate. In Robocop 2, Robocop doesn't really look very metallic in the movie, he looks more like a glossy car paint. He is very blue.. much bluer. The skin looks more metallic which is not very accurate to the movie.
And the default skin is way too silver, which also not accurate to the first movie which had quite a bit of purple and blue pearl style painting.

I've never seen purple and blue of any style on Robo's armor in the first movie. Maybe some dark scene with lots of light reflections.

Get it in blu ray or some amazon prime high definition version. All the pearl blue and purple are there in the first movie.

it still had some blue it was more visible in the right lights some sort of over cote paint job I don't know the specks just being ott about it

I see the iridescent you're talking about now, though the blue looks to just be lighting effects.
