I thought it was all in my head, but it's true, his face is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT when the helmet is on. Like, different face size, different mouth shape, even a different skin tone.

Focusing on a specific part for too long, though, is a very deliberate decision and can beand, debatably, quite creepy.
