Not working on Steam Deck anymore

At the release i buyed the game and it worked well on my Steam Deck OLED. After a long break i want to play again. After the start the Robocop Logo appears and i get a black screen. I can only hear the sound of the company of the Game but can't get any further. Only a black screen. I tried different Proton Versions and all i got is this prompt:

"directx 12 is not supported on your system. try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line".

I tried the command line -dx11 and -force-d3d11 but nothing worked.
My Steam Deck runs the latest stable OS and the game is up to date.
Is there something i can do?

Weird, it ran amazing on Arch Linux.

I would try switch Proton Experimental to 'bleeding edge'. You can search for Proton experimental in your library and open the option>betas>change the drop down.

You can also try this for the runtime as well (scout, soldier, sniper)

If that doesn't work I'd try the Deck beta. It will update the system packages to a newer version, more importantly the graphics driver or gamescope.

Odd I played it for a few hours on my PopOS! desktop yesterday. I'm running on Proton Experimental. Maybe as suggested move to the Beta branch.

I have the same issue. The game ran fine a few months ago, and when I tried it again a few days ago, just a black screen.

The black screen went away when i pressed the steam button then resumed game

I just got it to work via desktop mode, I think it’s a resolution issue as it’s running it in a higher resolution, because the side bar is smaller than normal. But mines worked fine before, just come back and it will just stick on black screen after launching through steam mode.

If you are experiencing problems with launching your game please try to reinstall both Visual C++ 2022 Redistributable Packages:

i was getting a black screen when launching the game.I re-installing x64: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe and that fixed the problem
