It's fun. The shooting is good but it's kind of on-rails because of how slow Robocop moves. There is a cool dodge ability but you mostly just tank and shoot while sometimes needing cover.

Very fun! But I still don't know why Auto-9's recoil is down(you will find that the crosshair will move down when shooting).

Beefy. With armor piercing and damage buffs in skills and the pcps, it felt gratifying shooting everyone.

The only two things with the shooting that's still bothering the hell out of me is when the enemies say something even though they're supposed to be dead. Like for example, when you do heart shots or head shots, they quite often say "I'm gonna kill you for this!" or "my hand! Kill that freak!", or "he shot me!", or "it stings like a b*tch!", etc etc lol! It really is immersion breaking for me so I'm planning to either order a mod that replaces all those hilarious out of place lines with different death screams from the game instead. Or I will try to learn how to do the replacing myself. Will be quite a lot of different sound files to go through from the game, but I'm down for that. Will definitely be worth it.

And also, the other thing is how they made the marking enemies function work. I think it should not be together with the ADS button. Instead it should be a separate button so you can also mark enemies without having to ADS. That's how the marking system worked in the first two movies, and it would certainly make the shooting a lot more fluid and movie accurate. I have ordered a mod for that change so it will be on a separate button so you can toggle the marking function on and off at will. When on, it will mark enemies automatically.

And yes, I'm a huge long time gamer and Robo fan, lol. Been waiting for a modern RoboCop game ever since that very crappy PS2/first Xbox game came out in 2003. And Rogue City will sadly and very likely be Peter Weller's last Robo game where he does the Robo voice acting. So, I cherish Rogue City a lot, and will play it every time after having watched the first two movies again from time to time. So, improving the game even further through mods is something I will continue to do until I feel the game has reached the ultimate RoboCop simulation experience.

So the crosshairs on the auto 9 seem slightly off- sometimes you'll shoot objects even though you have a clear bead on the body of the enemy. The other thing that seems silly is enemies still shooting at you when they have an arm blown off. For one thing, if you're experiencing that degree of injury, you're probably in no shape to keep shooting. Second, any firearm is essentially a two-handed weapon because of the recoil involved.

For the most part, however, it's enjoyable.

Those issues you mentioned gets resolved when you upgrade the Auto-9 damage and weapon spread to max.

I've actually heard after this latest update, "He blew my head off!" after a head shot. I took it as an attempt at humor.

The hand comment actually makes sense, "He blew my hand off!" Then falls over and dies. That one works. I usually get that one when I'm killing guys behind cover and the only thing I have to shoot is a hand.
