New Game Plus expand
New Game Plus should retain the data from the previous New Game Plus save. It feels horrible not being able to go back, again, and upgrade my chips even further. I would totally keep playing this game, over and over again, if New Game Plus actually registered New Game Plus and not just the last data from the last regular save file. Big sad.

This makes sense in a world where you're moving up in difficulties. It does not make sense in a world where there is only one difficulty left and it is trivialized by the buffs. They need to do something about this. Why should I not be able to use my previous chips from NGP in another NGP? That's the point I'm trying to make here.

Speaking of New game plus, is maxing out deduction for the extra 30% exp worth it?

what is the point of new game+ if it resets everything to noob????? Powers and upgrades and arsenal should carry over.

It doesn't reset everything to noob. I don't know about NG++, but the first time you start NG+ you retain all the skill points (you have to redistribute them) and all the weapon upgrades from your vanilla playthrough.

It does not retain skill points for a second NG+ playthrough, which is my complaint.

This is incorrect. Sounds like you might have encountered a bug or maybe you misclicked and started a regular new game and not a new game plus.

Actually, your response is incorrect. New Game Plus does not retain upgrades from previous New Game Plus saves. It only retains the previous upgrades from your Vanilla playthrough. Please do not correct me with incorrect information.
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
