I recently purchased my first VR headset (Q3) and started playing VR games, And the most I would want for Rogue City would be an official VR support for the game. Man, that would have really been a dream come true. And an arcade style mode along with it, and the option to play the whole game in VR.
Rogue City really is PERFECT for a VR adaptation. It just needs the whole RoboCop body visible when looking down, and leg animation when moving like in Batman: Arkham Shadow (AMAZING VR game by the way), and fully visible Robo arms and hands that responds to yours also like in Arkham Shadow and most other VR games.
I know there is a VR mod for Rogue City, but it seems to have too many issues to be fully enjoyed. But since the devs will not be releasing any more content for the game, I guess it will have to suffice. Will try it out sometime later.
I'm even considering to try contacting the guy who made the VR mod, and try to commission improvements on it via my Authentic Rogue City Mod Project.
VR has really got my attention. It's a whole other level to experience games in.
I agree that Rogue City is basically perfect for VR. The gameplay and level design lends itself very organically to that approach.
