How difficult is the game ?

I am interested in it but while searching about it the first few reviews i see are "robocop is a challenging game" or "this game can be frustrating at time" and other stuff. Is there an easy difficulty ? I am not fond of difficult game, i just want to have a fun time.

Very chill and easy. However easy in a good way, no stress, relaxing game.

There are 4 difficulty levels. I played on hard and there's only 2-3 spots where I died more than once. Overall, I died in maybe 8 different places maximum.

There are difficulties and no achievements for difficulties so you can take this game and get out of it exactly what you want. I'm playing on normal and its a cake walk even on that difficulty(prob should have bumped it up one lol). Didn't get as far as I'd have liked tonight cause I wanted to play all night but I had to mess around HEAVILY with settings, properties, files, and folders to get my game to stop crashing...so far...luckily a lot of people found various fixes that worked for them so I just worked down some lists until one stuck.

Judging by the 93% positive steam reviews I'd imagine I'm in a very low minority of players that had these issues. Honestly I'd have refunded but I wanted to save a little money and used a different official storefront to buy this game...can't refund when you do that.

If you want dude fire it on easiest difficulty and just enjoy the story - If you want a bit more of a challenge crank it up. There is no difficulty achievements or anything special about playing it on hardest difficulty so its entirely up to you how you play the game :)

The only thing that could be considered 'hard' in this game is maybe the first ed-209 fight cause of the level, past that everything was a cakewalk with how OP robo is.

I played on Normal, and I considered it to be very easy. My advice if you're really concerned is for skills, pump Armor, Combat, and Engineering and you'll be given so much leeway. Combat for damage, Armor for dmg reduction, and Engineering for chip modifier boosts (that'll make sense once you get motherboards to do things like affect reload speed, dmg, etc.)

Well, i do play on Normal too and hardly find myself in Situations where i am about to die. Like, if you "provocate it" and just stand in a horde of enemys, sure, You'll die. But if you take *some* cover every now and then you should be fine. No need to be a hardcore pro ego shooter type of guy to enjoy this game. I assume on easy its ... well, even more easy :P

Decided to play on hard as I wanted a bit of a challenge, but not to the point of frustration.

Probably should have gone with extreme, as the vast majority of the game has been mindlessly easy. I'm not exactly someone who plays shooters regularly, either.

Don't think anyone would have any real difficulty with this game.

Not too difficult even on hard. Had one difficulty spike during "Demonstration", mainly due to poor skill point settings.

And later, when you get Full auto, infine ammo, pinpoint accurate gun, game's a total breeze...

The game kinda offer the fair amount of challenge in highest difficulty. Where you kinda need to peak over corners and hide behind cover.

Normal and easy will give you the bad ass feeling of RoboCop, walk and destroy everything on your way.

In that regard, it's more of a preference thing, overall the game is not designed to be crushingly hard at every difficulty level.

Spoilers: Defusing the bomb in the sewers had me die SEVERAL times because I had lvl 10 armor and the ricochets kept hitting the barrels lol

Why you say you wanna have fun and speak about an easy difficulty? If you wanna have fun put the game on the hardest difficulty. Games that are easy are extremely annoying and frustrating not the other way arround. One of the most important fun of a game come with the challenge so no challenge = no fun.

You guys are funny to associate frustration with highest difficile when in reality and a game is frustrating when it's not enough difficult

I'm curious about this too. I though Robocop was invincible. Maybe I need to rewatch the movie.
