I did a little research on the internet (that you evidently didn't). The official library that has the Auto9 sounds costs a five-figure number.
I wouldn't say it's cheap... specially taking into account that they licensed Basil Poledouris music, that ain't surely cheap either.

Well, it's pretty obvious you don't know what you're talking about.
First, saying that you'll be OK with the music of the childish cartoon series instead of Poledouris, says a lot about how far are you from the actual feeling for a Robocop game. That's the dumbest and mediocre argument i read in a while.
No, Poledouris was a must. If you prefer Auto9 sound better than Poledouris, really re-check it. No way that's more important than having the main theme in the game.
Second, music rights aren't cheap. Specially like this case in which they have licensed long-term rights (or non expiring). Add limited budget and AA companies and that's all.
So, enjoy it to the fullest, guys. The fire rate will also get corrected soon and be movie accurate. Also commissioned a mod for the twirl and put in holster, which can be found here:

Thx a bunch!
As for the "childish" song as you put it may not be the real RoboCop theme, but it's still a radical, heroic 80's theme song which was something i grew up with as a child and it's better then Alpha Commando's garbage.
"Stingy" about money....
We are talking about an AA Game Studio, that doesn't make the big bugs here.
They where marginally successful with the very good Terminator Resistance and now tackled RoboCop better then anyone else before.
If this game is a success, we can hope they may go on to other iconic 80's or 90's series.
Cutting corners is not what they do, but they have a budget to keep, like everyone else.
Why don't you just send them you spare millions, if you got no worries about money....
