What PCB Do You Use?
I am curious about which PCB you all use for your playthoughs.

Are we all using the exact same setup or is there variety?

I prefer full-auto with less bullet spread so I mostly use 5.3. 6.0 does have better armor penetration but it has way too many penalties.
Yeah you dont have to accept penalties just gotta mess around with the chips so you dont go negative.
There was only one -20% penalty that I was unable to avoid on 6.0, because apparently I didn't find a single horizontal pass-through chip, so I used a T-shaped one instead. Even with that, it's hands down the best PCB.

That is why you should not merge chips. When I got 6.0 I used low level chips that matched on ammo capacity and reload time nodes, becouse with auto-loader perk those nods are pointless. You should also do that on all boards with safe auto-loader perk. I think I only merged chips to get better once when all nodes for 6.0 were fine, so at that point I could only get better chips.

Except the opposite is true. Since I never found the chip that I need, the only way to get it now is to merge the chips I have and hope to randomly get a pass-through one.

I wish you could pick the chip you want even if it downgraded the new chip by 1 or 2% compared to what you included it would be a far more useful.

You can nullify a lot of those penalties if you get a bit creative with your chips and chip placements.

I know, but 6.0 force you to increase bullet spread (at least 2 slots) in order to access the other perks. 20% bullet spread is too much for me.

negative in bullet spread is a good thing especially when you have full-auto
No idea which one it was, it was one of the 5 series that doesn't reload and gains auto-fire. Maxed the damage on that thing and it turned the game into a cakewalk on hard mode, including the last boss.
I would like a lot of random printed circuit boards.

That's not going to happen, because it would be impossible to balance.

This is RoboCop. Balance is optional. Superior firepower is mandatory. ~some guy at OCP probably~

I meant balancing all this random PCBs against each other. You can't give players random PCBs that are mostly junk.
I made a joke, I understood what you meant.
