RoboCop's reflections and feet...

We should be able to see them! Everything else is reflected except for the main character. I guess the model isn't being rendered while in first person, so if that needs to be added to make reflections work, you might as well add in his feet when I look down.

Edit: It'd be cool if he also cast a shadow.

Having a visible body in FPP games is actually a lot harder to do than it sounds. That's why it's relatively rare. But it would be nice if we could see Robo's reflection.

I agree with this, its funny when you pick up a barrel all you see is a floating barrels shadow. Robocop doesn't exist. It's all a lie.

NPC reflections exist, I think OP is correct with that the player model is simply turned off and not culled from the camera, Might be something they could tweak in their project.

not even Cyberpunk managed to have reflections for your player character, crazy how hard this seems to be. but at least I can look down and see my feet. where my Robo-feet?!?

Cyberpunk was a custom engine, though, which gave the developers so much more work to do. RoboCop, on the other hand, runs on Unreal Engine 5.

The game does not use hardware RT at all. The dynamic reflections are screenspace reflections.
