That's fair, though I think playstyle might impact that a bit. You pick it up that PCB in the prison, around the same time I picked up the shockwave stun. So dashing into a group of enemies and using a shockwave lets you headshot them at close range. Later on with the lethal shockwave that turned into dash, shockwave, shield, dash again towards stragglers, slo-mo headshot at mid range. That cemented for me when I found it quickly dealt with the balcony ambush in the expo.
I also need to check into this more, but I think that the ricochet targeting may be unaffected by the Pellet Shot inaccuracy. Feels like it should, but found that to work at longer range than I expected.
OK, when you're right, you're right. The PCB I was using had that option, but I hadn't opted to activate it. Went ahead and reloaded the save and enabled it. Immediately got through the fight quicker, not even allowing the boss to charge once in the parking garage and finishing under 60 seconds. I had thought tossing more rounds would be better for the Boom Boom Rounds chance, but it appears that was not the case.
