npc models have some weird glitch on their mouths?
im playing this and having fun btu im noticing some lip glitch that it's like stuck on a lip, any concern?

Yeah that happened for me as well. It was a bit distracting but otherwise didn't interfere with gameplay that much. I was more annoyed about fatal crashes.

i have it too. completely unacceptable to be having this glitch after paying 50 plus tax. hope they fix it soon

The glitch is fixed setting VIEW DISTANCE to "FAR" sadly it will take some FPS in exchange.

To me the NPC's have a distinct 'Bethesda' quality about them when you talk to them. I don't mind it (glitches aside) but they do look very average compared to some of the environments which look really nice

yeah game definitely could use some more polishing. hopefully they push out updates regularly

I think it still has a charm about it, I am okay with the jank as it gives it character. But bugs and glitching is obviously not so charming

You can kinda see where Unreal Engine 5 carried the team. The environments look amazing but UE5 would drastically help with that, the characters on the other hand look pretty goofy.

Oh definitely but I still cut them some slack as I think for a smaller developer they made a pretty good game

The weird mouth bug looks like a skinning issue. Some vertexs on the inner mouth area dont have any paint weights on them. Aka they are not rigged to a top lip or bottom lip bone. I think this could be a distance issue as listed above for a fix.
Since ue5 uses a screen percentage to change lods.
Lod 0 being the main ultra ultra high detailed mesh. And Lod 1 being 1 meter away from player camera.
Lod 1 is the mesh that has skinning issues.
