Yet another checkpoint save type game...

I really hate games like this where you can't manually save your game and it only auto-saves when it chooses. Most of the time it doesn't even save when it would make sense to do so(right after a long dialog section or assigning skill points).

Why is it so hard to put in a manual save option? Real life happens while playing and I can't always be sure that I've reached an autosave checkpoint. It's like they went out of their way to make it less obvious when that happens. Tiny dot in the upper right that is up for a split second while other stuff is happening on screen. Hmm, not sure if I've reached a checkpoint? OK, go into menu and click load game(cause that's intuitive) then check timestamps. Oh look, last save was like 20 minutes ago. How long until it's going to save my game again?

I took a break from Starfield to play this and that has one of the best savegame functionalities ever compared to this. What's the deal with not allowing you to manually save your game? /Seinfeld

Right. Part you picked wasn't main part / biggest / did not have any significant importance to problems we are asking here.

Also gonna refund Terminator Resistance because of this checkpoint BS. Can't tolerate that crap.

Personally didn't care for terminator but this one isn't that bad and you dont really need a manual save for this, but I dont really understand why they couldn't have patched it in.

Well, I hate checkpoint games but at least this game is pretty easy and checkpoints are really predictable to not be really annoying.

At end of 2023 we still cant let more than one person in the house play at a time, on way, way, too many games.

AND the option to put your own description on save games. I have no idea why that feature seems to have been phased out in favour of thumbnail screenshots, text means I can clearly label what it is and not have to figure out which thumbnail corresponds to where in earlier games

I bet its easier to implement an autosave/checkpoint system than it is to implement a manual save option. That seems even a bit as lazy coding imo/time saving measure seeing Teyon is only a smaller indie studio.
Still, they do seem to make their games with a certain passion, and it shows. I also have terminator: resistance and the atmosphere that game breathes is just like the original movie.
Now, I havent played RRC yet, I have it in my library until I buy a new computer; but I have every reason to believe that the same thing will apply to RRC; atmosphere.

Yup a one and done game.

Rather disappointing there wont be any neat dlc.

Wasn't worth buying this on sony and microsoft consoles, never played more than a few missions on them and that was first release was unplayable for a bit on consoles.
