The targeting system needs this feature
The targeting system needs an automated feature to feel more movie accurate and authentic. Not just when you hold the aim button. The feature should automatically register targets without you having to hold the aim button, but you still need to aim and shoot by yourself after. No aim assist help. This way, it would be a lot more movie accurate.

Robo did not need to aim with his Auto-9 to register his targets through the targeting system in the movies.

And also a always show scanlines in first person mode would be awesome for the immersion. Devs, please. Implement this. Thank you for your cooperation.

It had a heavy aim assist in the demo, but so many people whined about it that the developers seem to have sarcastically swung the aiming into the other direction. The scan lines cause headaches when on too long though. So I'm glad that's not a permanent effect, however i can see the value to others, in making the effect a toggle

This would make it too easy imo. maybe on easiest and normal settings? also a film grain option might be cool too. I usually HATE that in games, but in this case I think it would replicate the 80's camera quality quite nicely and make the game feel even more like the movies

hmmm.. The automated system could be a skill that let you mark and execute... Things you see in games like Splinter Cell Conviction, Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2, Mafia 3 etc.. Or even like the revolver in Ion Fury.

Nah, that's too easy. Do you want someone to come to your house and play the game for you too?

It would not make it easier. It's just automatically registering targets without you having to hold the aim button. You still need to aim and shoot by yourself after. I was hoping for something like that to be in this game. Would be perfect for showing some cinematic third person "fancy shooting" from Robo just like from the movies. I guess the budget for the game was not enough for that.

You clearly did not understand my point. And for the record, I finished the first playthrough on hard. On my second playthrough now on extreme with crossair off. I just want the game to become more authentic to the movies. That's why I brought up this request.

I think the third person cinematic execustions would be awesome, but certainly a lot of work and more budget to do it nicely.. possibly beyond the scope of this dev, but mark and execute in first person wouldn't be too much trouble. The game already have a slow motion skill... it wouldn't be too hard to let you mark targets during slow motion then execute to automatically shoot everyone dead in a sec.

That would be really cool, an 80's filter. I'd love to see that.

I just want always the scanlines on for the immersion. No need to simulate bad CRT picture quality. Been there, experienced that :P

I believe the console versions have aim assist, so, weird it's not in the PC version for controller users such as myself. That said, I am still able to make all the headshots I want heeh.
