It takes place between the second and third movie timewise, but they never said it's the only thing that happens between these two movies.
Excuse me? The devs "failed" to make a connection to the movie nobody liked because you wanted to?
What are you talking about? Nobody liked? I liked Robocop 3. It had poor execution, but story wise it was actually quite good. Lots of people liked Robocop 3.
I'm not against them using elements of the story but changing how it looks and takes place if they decide to do another game.
I kinda have my doubts though.
You may say Robocop 3 film was bad but the Devs still acknowledge it as canon. They wouldn't want a video game developer declaring a product that they actively sell as non-canon just because the 3rd movie wasn't as well received as the other two. So Just like the DLC Annihilation Line for Terminator. Robocop Deserves a DLC Story with the origin on how he got his gun Arm weapon.
