I will be honest here, I have never seen any Robocop movies. :csd2smile:

I rewatched the trilogy a couple months ago, first film is still so good, its also pretty brutal with some scenes, could watch it again and again. 2nd movie is alright, enjoyable but doesn't reach the heights of the first film, also has an annoying gangsta kid.

3rd movie is so bad, different robocop actor, he does his best but he just aint as good, another annoying kid in it but way worse, wanted the kid to go play with traffic and never come back!

There were also some straight to DVD Robocop movies called The Prime Directives, but they are baaaaad. The guy playing Robocop is only like, 5 feet tall, they didn't include the stompy sound effects when he walks, his voice acting is terrible, the storylines are all bad, but if you *really* need more robocop in your life... well, they exist i guess.

That's like recommending Dark Fate to huge fans of Terminator 1, 2, and the Resistance video game by Teyon.

That's the dumbest take among the dumbest takes...
"Prime Directives" wasn't great but it wasn't an insulting disaster. It had a lot of great stuff on paper, nailed down RoboCop's character and Verhoeven's worldbuilding, unlike this idiotic video game.
On it's own, "Dark Justice" is a damn solid entry for a low budget direct-to-video production. And the second best RoboCop film.

what? sure we do, fallout 1 and 2 lets you do that as long as you don't have the german version of the games

Last I knew Bethesda went back and patched that out. But it's true you where supposed to be able to do that, though I don't think kids even showed up in 1.

This game gets more right than Prime Directives, but I like Prime Directives, cheesy as ♥♥♥♥ but it got a lot of the core things right and the meta plot was horrible, but it was entertaining .

The thing that bothered me most about prime directives is that they got so much of robocop as a character wrong. The actor was trying his best sure, but he was too short, he didn't have the right sound effects, and he couldn't do the robotic movements as good as Peter Weller could. In the original movies, Robocop is a huge imposing walking tank, he makes thugs scared just by existing, but in prime directives he looks like an action figure they scaled up to human size, Page Fletcher just doesn't have the same kind of screen presence.

He was also too old to play Murphy or at least looked too old. Robocop would actually be a hard role to play I'd think, being that unemotional. Richard Eden had to be the second best Robocop in my opinion.

Ah yes I remember that. There was some discussion about it at the time and female enemies in Bioshock Infinite.

Also, female doesn't need to be filled everywhere. MLP is a cartoon with barely any male, and I am glad with that. Same with female.

There are female enemies (prostitutes) shame we can't bring them swift justice in this game, maybe there is a mod for that.

Thank god, I was worried I had gaslit myself into thinking htat was real, glad to know that I did, in fact, read an article with that in it
