Do you wait some at start menu? Its one time full shader compilation process. After that - no one lag, statter or anothe tech problem.

I haven't had any problems on my rig. I get the occasional traversal stutter, but no shader comp stutters. I believe the game *does* compile shaders at startup considering my CPU blasts up to 100% use for a couple mins. This is on a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and AMD RX 7900 XTX with 32GB of ram.

I get some traversal stutter on a 4080 but it's not too bad.

Nothing on my end. Had issue right after launching for the first time, but swapped resolution to my monitor's and turned vsync, and all good.

the shader compilation happens only the first start. restart the game and it should be fine.

but at this point i find it hilarious how many with 4080/4090 seem to struggle with the game or rather setting up their rigs correctly.

my system: ryzen 3800x, 32 gb, 2070, ssd, win 10.
my settings: 2580x1080, dlss quality, v-sync on, all high, blur off, lumen on.
55-85+ fps, drops only when getting in new areas and only for a fraction.

out of curiosity i changed to epic settings, and was amazed. as long as there are no enemies around i have basically the same fps, maybe 1-2 less. when enemies are around i drop around 10+. in my resolution there is barely any difference, so i switched back.

for the fact that this is ue5 and my gpu is outdated, both work well together.

capped my framerate to 75, running gsync, no stutter at all. just slow loading textures when entering a dialogue or loading a savegame.

playing in 1440p / Ultra Settings / DLSS Quality Mode
RTX 3080 / R7 7800X3D / 64 GB DDR5 / Win11 latest.

sounds like TC needs to learn how to adjust settings

If you have DLSS frame gen enabled, try disabling it (alternatively turning it off completely or switching to XeSS or FSR). Some people say that the DLSS frame gen feature causes stuttering in this game, can not confirm this myself though.

I have the same PC settings as you. The same happened to me, but I've noticed the stutter started after I changed some graphic config. My solution was to reinstall the Nvidia Driver, so the Compilation proccess happen at the game boot until the FPS stabilizes at the title screen. After that I didn't messed with the options and I'm stutter free ( there is still traversal stutter, but it's minimal)

I have zero stutters. The game runs like a dream. The only issue that exists and texture pop in. Low res texutres sometimes take a second to fade into thigh res ones. That is constantly all over the game.
