Devs: Upscalers seem to need some attention
Devs seem somewhat active here, so figured I'd post here.

DLSS, FSR 2.2, DLAA and XeSS all have a ton of noise on/around water reflections, of which the game has tons.

TAA and TSR seem to solve the issue at the expense of frames, but I use DLSS in every game that supports it. I've never seen anything this noisy. FSR and XeSS are also extremely blurry. FSR has some of the worst shimmering.

Additionally, Frame Generation shows as active, but is greyed out.

System: 7800 x3d, 4080, 64GB DDR5, NVMe, Windows 11.

Framerate by Hell Gas station downtown:
TSR - 65
TAA - 70
FSR - 104
XeSS - 100
DLSS (Quality) - 109

Hence why I don't want to use TSR/TAA.

Yeah, dlss is usually the best choice hands down but tsr gave me the best results here. I don't think this is a game issue but an engine thing. Ue5 and lumen seem to interact weirdly with third party up scalers. Personally I would like an option to just turn aa off completely or add an msaa option

I have an amd gpu and I normally Use TSR as it looks the best. Even when you bump the resolution scale slider down it looks the best at for example 67% = quality mode.
Tsr looks even better the higher you put the resolution slider at 80-100% it looks great.
TAA can have shimmer on the roads when you bump it down to 67%, but if you leave it up higher around 80-100% res scale it looks better.

Try out the different upscale tech and don't lower it as much put it to like 80%. If you need to bump down shadows or lighting down a notch so you can keep the Res scale slider up higher.

I noticed it, too. FSR 2.2 has the worst quality. Intel's XESS makes the look way clearer. This is not the first game i saw these difference. Unfortunately my RX 6650XT can't handle a smooth performace on 1080p and high settings with TAA or TSR.

+1 all reflections are flickering

Yeah it looks so bad. When I first saw the shimmering I thought it was supposed to be rain drops.

Rather than attention, they need OFF toggle.
I don't want them, I don't need them, they are terrible.

yes we want an option for off or disable upscaling

I'm really confused. I played through the whole demo and saw VERY minor ghosting, and a tiny bit of shimmer in the open-world area. But jesus christ, the release version has some SERIOUS issues with all of the upscalers. Intel XeSS looks the least bad, with DLSS on Quality looking like there are earthworms squirming all over every wet surface.

What the hell happened between the demo patch to remove stuttering and now? It looked fine, then. Now it looks REALLY bad.

Yeah, dlss looks great now a days, I remember cp2077 looking really weird with dlss quality at 1080p (my monitor resolution) but nowadays I find it rrally hard to spot any difference between dlss and native in most games, but yeah....this seems like a extremely terrible implementation.

Same, the lights and some wall textures in Robo's maintenance lab look bad and grainy as well unless you switch to TSR or TAA.

They added option to turn of upscalers today and other settings BUT it does not get rid of the wet ground shimmering entirely and reflections are utterly broken when set on anything than EPIC.

Does changing them to SSR fix it? You can do that in the Engine.ini.

What line does that?
