Think they should have gone with a different cosmetic than blue, the silver would have made more sense as an option and give us a damaged blue variant.
The blue still feels like the odd one out.. the extra one.. the optional one.
It looks great in game (better than it did in the movie as I think it was way too blue) but silver should still be the default, considering what you said that the blue armor would have to be replaced at the end of Robocop 2 anyway.. the movie ends with Murphy taking the helmet off that was busted beyond repair.
I do, however, feel like the default one in game is way too plain. I'm hope for a mod because even on the original Robocop 1 and 3, the silver armor is still slightly more bluish with some purple and darker blue on the back of the head and in some areas.
