I'd buy that for a dollar!
After diving headfirst into the Robocop Rogue City Demo, let me tell you, I'm absolutely loving it. Now, don't expect me to gush about "groundbreaking gameplay" or "mind-blowing graphics" because, truth be told, it's nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary in those departments. But what it is, my friends, is a nostalgia trip that hits harder than a Robocop punch.

Peter Weller reprising his iconic role? That's the golden ticket right there. It makes me feel like a wide-eyed 13-year-old watching the OG Robocop be the ultimate badass. The game does justice to the movies, from the gritty streets of Old Detroit to the gleaming skyscrapers of Delta City. It's over-the-top, it's off-the-walls insane, it's violent as all hell, and it's got a touch of that good old vulgarity. And guess what? It's freakin' amazing.

Forget about running, jumping, and bunny hopping like those modern shooters. In Robocop Rogue City, you lumber around like the man-machine you are. That slow, deliberate walk makes you feel like the real Robocop. It's a glorious throwback. And let's not forget the music. They've taken the original score and tweaked it just right, making it feel like a symphony of nostalgia.

Now, the demo's given me a taste of what I've been craving (and I haven't even finished it yet). So you better believe I'm stoked as hell for the full game. Bring on the mayhem, Robocop style!

Spot on!
Thank you for this! I feel exactly the same way, as I was 13 when I watched it in the 80's!
when showing my wife the game she asked me why the walking is so slow, i had to explain that Robocop doesnt run (i will finish the game without running ;)

Theres a brisk walk it seems like but yeah. Nice to see the devs care for the older gems.
Was just thinking that ha
Darn rights, I'm in.

This is my first RoboCop FPS since RoboCop 3D in the early 90's, the one where you could use Robo targeting, drive his car around the open world city, save Officer Lewis from Splatterpunks, chase after a criminal van around the city, fly the gyropack around the city, and rescue hostages from OCP tower.

Not to mention, that ancient game had a pretty epic soundtrack fitting of the RoboCop film universe.

If it's the one I am thinking of I remember it on MS DOS :D it was awesome.
yeah boy,! Feels like 1987 again. Especially wandering around in that arcade :)
To me the game definitly has Robocop all around it. The city feels like Robocop, the thugs feel like Robocop, the shooting feels like Robocop. Personally I love the game so far and will pre order from what I seen so far. Kinda reminds me how that Terminator game on steam feels like Terminator 2 (the parts where the world ended).
All true, but I would liked to see the turning be a little more like a tank drives, more heavy feel to it. You know in the movies he first turns his upper body and then turns the legs at that direction. And he does it quite slowly. But I guess the decision was made and it would require for the full game to be rebalanced....
Walking feels right and you can sprint also if need to be, so that´s just right amount of speed there.
Campy, Gory, silly, bliss. Long live Robocop!
Gotta agree I had seen gameplay of this before playing the demo but I did not expect such a fleshed out demo and now I am very excited for the full release.

This also makes me want a new dredd game

Oh a decent Dredd game could be so good, or a decent Terminator game (going back to the routes) The retro genre (games based on retro franchises) is so strong, Alien Isolation was the same, bought that nostalgia vibe with new content.
I loved the demo can't wait for the full game
