Any way to improve the mouse feel?
NOTICE: This topic was created back when the demo was available. I'm no longer experiencing this issue in the final, released version of the game.

I love the demo, but something I've noticed is that the mouse sensitivity feels strange even with Vsync enabled. It's almost like it's inconsistent. Sometimes when I first load into a level (or am given back control after a cutscene) my sensitivity feels overly low, and then within a few seconds it becomes more responsive (almost like a gradual curve).

I don't know if this is some sort of forced mouse smoothing or if there's something else going on, but the mouse controls just never feel quite right to me at all times. Does anyone know of a way to fix/improve this?

I understand what you mean, I would love to know a way to fix this also.

Vsync should always be turned off for shooters, but other than that i agree something feels off sometimes.

I've found the series x xbox controller works pretty well for this game.

Why the hell would you want to have screen tearing in ANY game, let alone shooters? That sounds AWFUL, man.

Assuming you have a Variable Refresh Rate display (any gaming display from last half a decade+, really), aka G-Sync Compatible, you want VSync always ON in Global settings of Nvidia Control Panel, plus a framerate limiter a few FPS below your refresh rate.

That is the way to go in almost any game.

I felt the same. I use a xbox controller. It has a slower more clunky feel, in how i feel Robocop would move. He is not a fast twitch quick on his feet Cyborg.

Since I'm the one who started this thread, I just wanted to say that I haven't had this issue at all in the fully released game. It was only affecting me in the demo, so it seems they solved whatever was causing it for me.
