Stutter is so bad i just skip any game using UE5
Seriously it's not worth the money and the headache.

It doesn't. OP has already been told in other threads, that the demo is not optimized and that developers have already commented on this. See the pinned topic on the top of the forums, or go to the event sub forum and see "Demo optimization."

i swear to god people don't know how to read anymore. They never said it was a demo only problem in fact they admit it's a "unforseen" problem with the game.

Dunno for me it said "Demo Download".

umm they would have to, because you can't download the full game. the only thing available is the demo
I don't know what you're talking about. I've got an AMD CPU, also 32GB RAM and a 3080 and I am playing at 5120x1440 on ultra and the game doesn't stutter at all.
Quite good performance for me at least...

Looking forward to play the full game

and here we have the "it runs fine for me so you're all lying" comment.

i was waiting for that to show up
Yeah, pretty nasty stutters here too, on a rig that is no slouch: AMD 5950X, Radeon 7900XTX (latest drivers as of writing), 64GB RAM, game installed on an NVME Samsung 980 PRO.

I don't know if it's shader compilations or what, but I'd rather wait an ungodly amount of time to precompile shaders on first load (like The Last of Us) than play it in this state.

Fun game otherwise though, really satisfying headshots. :)

I dont wanna badtalk to you but i guess this game needs a very good PC.

Probably not the greatest advert to get people to buy the full product then. On a 32GB i7-12700K & 3070 with detection-recommended settings (which tend to be conservative in most titles) it really wasn't a great experience.

It always happens with Unreal games, lol. That one person with a phantom PC that somehow, some way isn't affected by shader compilation.

it is a shader issue, it's a rather well known issue with unreal Engine 5.
well if it runs on other rigs with similar hardware just fine, I'd say it's either optimization or there are other factors involved. however not dropping this information would be more helpful?
nobody said the op is lying, but if it's running fine for me there might be something else off ;)

I owned AMD products a lot back in the days when graphics cards branded as ATI and the AMD Athlon (K7) came out, they never never played well for me.
After the 4th try to buy a fully made AMD PC from Alienware with a brand new ryzen CPU i gave up.
Buy an intel I9 and a nvidia 40 series graphics card , 32gb ram and your fine if you wanna play the next gen video games.
Forget AMD !

To be fair AMD has come a long way, clawing it's way back to compete with Intel. an Ryzon 9 is almost just as good as an i9.

as far as graphics cards go AMD needs better drivers, but their Raedon 7800XT is almost as fast as a 4080 for about 300 bucks less.

Maybe your right, but the hardware market is hard and mirosoft supports the big sellers only,
or the companies with enough money :p
So guess which hardware is SOFTWARE optimized first, or in other words what would you do if you own microsoft ?
Support AMD ? Linux ? Apple ?

If my experience playing games with this system was generally bad I'd agree. But this is actually the first game on this system whose performance I've felt disappointed with. Even with The Last of Us, which was lambasted due to poor performance at release, played buttery smooth for me.

I kind of get what you're saying about Nvidia, but I'm not overpaying for a video card with too little VRAM.

Mate your 100% right and i enjoyed your comment cause it's 100% true.
But still the world is like it is !!
Nvidia makes a lot of cash and i also made my wrong decisions with that company.
2080ti was top and very soon they came up with the 3 series and another cheaper 3 series.
The 2080ti was kinda brand new and old and crap :P
And then they came up with the 4 series and so on.
Lesson learned ! I dont buy any new hardware in 2 years.

Amd has come a long way, the CPU's are up at Intel level now IMO.

I buy both brands, but went full AMD after having Intel / Nvidia for numerous years.

Amd isn't the reason people are stuttering in this game btw. People with all brands are getting the Shader compilation / traversal stutters in this game. Some people get it worse than others.

Mine was only noticeable on First load of Robocop then almost went away after playing the game awhile and restarted the game.

Intel 13th gen cpu's are having more issues than any other CPU at the moment on Recent games and mostly on Unreal Engine 5.

Even 13th gen cpus on Counter Strike 2 are having very poor performance unless you disable the Ecores.

Gamers nexus has a recent video on it if you want to have a look.

13th gen intel cpus had issues on Remnant 2, immortals of Aveum, various other ue5 games and also some Ue4 games. Some source engine games too.

You can google the info and look at the video I was talking about above, I am not making it up. People had to disable the Ecores and or down clock the intel 13th gen cpus slightly in order to "fix" the problem.

That being said I do like all companies and I am glad we have competition in the market.
