Can't switch main pistol off of burst

I assume its not an intended feature that I cannot switch firing modes off of the default burst, given I can see the single shot and or full auto options in the bottom right, and there is a key mapping for cycling the mode.

Im fairly certain the Auto-9 is supposed to be burst only, I think it was that way in the movie iirc.

There is a button to switch mode, I think the mode switching will be some sort of upgrade in the main game.

3 shot burst is movie-accurate.

It's not like you get anything by switching to singleshot. 3-burst is already precise (but not very damaging).

My one issue with it is that in slow motion and stuff I cannot accurately take people out quickly when I am required to shoot 3 times before I can start shooting someone else.

There are dozens of single shot pistols you can pick up immediately upon killing one enemy 5 seconds into the demo, just use one of those.

The auto-9 is actually semi auto and 3 round burst. the safety is a select fire switch
