Robocop Voice
Hello,

I'm currently playing the demo, and I must say, I'm quite impressed. It takes me back to the first RoboCop game from 2003, and I can see the resemblance, which is a testament to your achievement. Lewis, is that you? Kudos to you!

However, one thing that slightly bothers me is the voice of RoboCop. It feels a bit too "computer-robotic" for my taste. I understand that in the movies, RoboCop was portrayed by a human, and this time, the decision was made to give it a more robotic voice, departing from the original human-like voice. Still, I believe there's room for improvement to strike the right balance between a robot's voice and a voice that doesn't sound overly computer-generated. It's about finding that sweet spot between the essence of a robot and the nuance of a distinct, human-like voice. I hope my point comes across clearly.

Overall, I'm genuinely thrilled to see this game on the horizon. Keep up the great work!

I think they did this to compensate for Weller's age. He sounds more robotic in MK11 as well.

Yes i totally, even by the trailer i thought something was off with the voice of Robocop it sounds like the original actor was tying to copy the voice of Robocop from the 1st two films forgetting that it was him who originally play him. Who ever made that error in judgement should of just got someone else to fill in for the voice instead of getting the original actor to try sound like the actor in which doing so sounds more computer robotic than it was in the original two classic films. Totally disappointed.

Yeah, while Robo did sound a bit like that at the beginning of the first film, by the end he was talking much more like a person. It's weird to see him revert from that. I blame the writers.

I think you can have both voices. more robotic when fighting to heighten the action. and less so for the more emotional scenes.

Only thing i kinda feel regarding this is that the voice isnt as punchy as it was in the movie. I mean he had more power behind it when the action was on in the film.

But here he sounds softer that he should when he has the more robotic voice. its strange because thats the exact other way around in the movie.

But this is between the 2nd and 3rd movie so i guess he is more human sounding overall.
Still i wouldnt mind that badass louder voice with more base.

The only problem is that you can tell the actor was drunk, and it makes robocop sound silly at times. Also the first robocop game I'm aware of was Robocop verses the terminator on sega genesis back in the 90s. THAT was still the best robocop game ever made lol. But this one is a very close second. I would prefer a sober robocop, but I can live with it. It's a really great game so far. I can't wait to play the rest of it. Seems to be set between robocop 1 and 2.

He's not drunk, he's 76 years old.
