and thats all what he can write in a 2weeks "let us know what your PC specs" probably Nvidia paid them good to use only DX12 to sell their new overpriced videocards, and also Epic paid for testing their awfull UE5, because i really don't understand why not to give an option for every one to use DX11 or 12 or use maybe UE4 if you don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know how to work with UE5, look starting from 2010 there is no any difference in graphics, what this game can show that no other first person shoter can't do, open ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ first Left 4 Dead and you will see the same picture

and one more thing need to tell, that Fort Solis for example which on Unreal Engine 5.2 with that popular DX12 garbage - works just fine on my PC, yeah same as Hogwarts Legacy, Calisto Protocol, Evil West, Lies of P played demo, and i don't remember what else comes this or previous year on UE, so i don't want to hear that your video card below min specs and its time for upgrade your PC, because i know how it works, when video card can't handle graphics it just running the game slow simple like slide show with 10fps, but if some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absurd message pop up and telling me "DirectX 12 is not supported on your system" even without trying to start loading a game, without trying opening it with some crash error after, then that is not a problem with a your system boys, that just some bastards did not want you to play the game and preventing you from starting it, maybe because of their ignorance or because of the deals they made between themselfs and think they will make more money on this

what is the most funny thing that all new games running well on Steam Deck and this is a small, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10inch smartphone, but on my PC they already don't starting... well i can't believe this

Meh, I'd say this is what the BETAs have been for, to figure out the scope of users and their respective hardware.

A DEMO should be a vertical slice of a feature complete, stable product.
At least it was like this in the good old days when studios and publishers didn't use BETAs being available two weeks before the game's release with no time or intentions to actually take care of any feedback being received through the BETA until the game's initial release.

And regarding this specific one:
After two BETA-phases the game has already been delayed multiple times, so it should be a no brainer to have it running as smooth AF by now.

It will work if you update your driver's, if it still doesn't work, your graphics card is not supported. I got it to work on my r9 390 only after getting the latest and drivers modded to work with it

demo can be run alone without stem client

Take a breath, DX12 is supported as far back as kepler... so you don't need the latest GPUs, just the latest nvidia drivers.

I SOLVED PROBLEM
sorry for english - I finally solved this problem... in a strange way - try to install raw, full dx12 from SOME website, not from the official website (that only gives updates I think, something is missing on official source...) then the message changed to other, but I don't remember which one, install the latest and previous versions of C++ and similar programs, frame network? I installed everything I could get my hands on and the game finally started, although it's strange, because supposedly more demanding games like CP77 worked for me from the beginning.

If you are running on obsolete and outdated Windows 10 build (v2004, v1909, v1903, v1809 or older), your PC is below minimum requirements for DirectX12 Agility SDK and DirectX12 Ultimate.

Dude Its 2023 - use DX12 and "Borderless Window"-Mode to get the real power of DX12 and all of its features. Also you will never have micro-stutters or something like that with the "BW"-Modi and DX12. And of course - use NVIDIA and INTEL
