Whats with the system requirements ?
It says 16 GB Ram for minimum and recommended so you're telling me I cant play a non AAA game with 8 GB on minimum ? Thats weird. Also it says Intel Core 7 for minimum and recommended so I cant play with Core 5 10th gen on minimum either ? These requirements seem high for a game thats not a massive budget AAA title.

i'm idling win 11 now with only 5 tabs open. granted I don't use pagefile for virtual mem anymore, sitting at 8.5/32 GB memory used. 16 GB pretty much became standard back with win 10.

It's a UE5 game that uses Lumen and Nanite, which are super expensive.

I hope the recommended 6800 is for a 1440 144 fps experience and not a bare minimum 60 fps. Otherwise, I'll have to upgrade my 5700.

I want to play this game in 4K 144 Hz all ultra settings, I hope my 6900 xt is enough to do so

I think you need to understand that we’re in a new generational cycle now as defined by the console market. We’re seeing AAA games that need 32GB or ram, 8GB is extremely low for modern gaming, even AA.

No, not weird in 2023 with UE5. You might be able to run it with 8GB but there'll be no optimisation done with 8 in mind. Think of it as a warning before people start complaining (which they will anyway because many people don't read the spec. properly and think their 2015 PC will run a 2023 game flawlessly).

Don't worry your 10th gen i5 is more than capable compared to a 4th gen i7 the specs make sense you just need to use your own discretion comparing your system to them.

I've had 16GB of ram in my system for over a decade it's not really a big reach to see games asking for that. I'd rather they said that then claim it runs on 4GB only to disappoint people who think that's a realistic target.

I'll be running this game on a pile of crap FX8370 so if anyone's going to suffer it will be me LOL

I had the same cpu. Please write later how the game runs with that processor. :)

Sure will do, It's a kinda guilty pleasure of mine seeing what I can play through on this piece of crap. It's clocked to 4.7GHz so it's not too bad, just making the best of the limited kit I have :claugh:

To be honest, people should be prepared for some rough performance with these new UE5 games that use all the fancy features. Unfortunately, Epic haven't necessarily prioritised performance.

You should factor 4Gb - 8Gb just for an optimal functioning operating system alone.

16Gb for few memory related issues now and then contingent on what you do

32Gb for no memory related issues unless you somehow created a bottleneck during the build or configuring the OS.

It's nearly 2024, the bare minimum RAM should be 16Gb to help you see that 32Gb is a good starting point for PC gaming in allowing you the majority of configuration options. I put 32Gb into my last build maybe 2 years ago and haven't had a single crash no matter what I do. Can max out 99% of games on the 2080Ti.

If evryone had a monster pc like mine then people would not complain about system requirement. But as we saw from the latest Steam survey the most popukllar graphics card are GTX 16050 4GB. 4GB VRAM were the best graphics cards of 2014 and now we have 2023. It is sad to see so many people stilll using old pcs!
BUT I HAVE A MONSTER PC AND IRUN ALL GAMES MAXED 1440P 6- FPS WHICH IS WHYI DONT WORRY!!
MINE MONSTER PC IS
RYZEN 7 1700
16 GB DDR4 3200MHZCL15
RX6700XT 12 GB RED DEVIL
MP 600 2TB WRITE:4950MB/S READ:4250MB/S

16 GB is really the minimum these days, I also plan to upgrade to 32 GB from 16 - that's a cheapest upgrade I can make on my PC :) I7... don't wathc it, watch the specs: the 4790 was a 4 core/8 thread CPU so actually my 10100F qualifies.

I still wonder my 10100F 16 GB and GTX 1650 SUPER can handle the game. Also no info about FSR, XeSS support. Terminator later got FSR.

It’s crazy how many people are playing on Potatoes but it’s also cool that Steam has so many games that people can still find.
