Intel basically remastered their last-generation CPUs... and promotes it with up to 10 GHz, but don't tell you that you also need a new expensive mainboard and regular cooling is definitely not possible to reach that speed (yeah kinda obvious). marketing and pr...
if it is a pre-built pc, maybe switch to AMD (which is also MUCH cheaper)!?
fyi, i never had issues with AMD/Nvidia combos and would never use an ATi/AMD gpu (i enjoy RTX way too much).
well... you should have fun with it anyway.
I knew it was fixed the moment I didn't see little green flickering lights all over my screen when my save loaded. Whatever that setting did in registry its stopped the crash and no more flickering lights and everything looks good.
I already had frame generation off and was still crashing either instantly on the menu or instantly when i loaded my save. TdrLevel fixed all that, so if you are struggling, give that option a go. I was 4 hours going through this thread and others trying to get my game working.
will report back later. still installing stuff, and RC is downloading.
edit: just a quick check. 3440x1440, all epic, lumen on+high, no dlss or anything, tsr, and i got 60+ without any flickering dots on the streets. that performance is fine imo.
oh, frame gen on or off didn't do much.
it also didn't change any of the settings in windows for the game. sure, i optimized it and got rid of crap, but that's it.
i "just" got a 4070ti now...
EDIT: Hmm, the game will crash again later even without FrameGen, nice crap Devs...
As soon as you get to the elevator in the first mission, the game crashes, great... Publishing the game but making sure it works for people is obviously beyond your power!!
i played 6 hrs in the demo without issues, and 9 or so in the full game, all on a 2070. i will finish it on my new pc with a 4070ti. from my side the game runs perfectly fine and looks great too.
but compared to this, i am one of those who encountered every possible bug in cyberprank... i hate that game as much as i enjoyed it, but mostly hate CDPR for releasing that technical trainwreck it was on release. that was much, much worse than this game can ever be. also the fact that one is a multi-million company, and the other a growing indie studio.
Same setup, except for 4080 Founder's Edition. They need to sort out the game for the hardware. It works fine on my laptop, which is a 3070 Ti (I forget which i9) on Win 11.
16 GB RAM
1080 MSI Gaming 8 GB
I put textures on low, the Rest on Middle, Full HD, Upscaling Intel Performance
Looks like the crashes Stop
try this if you have random crashes
