When is this game set?

I'm unclear on the time, compared to the films. Obviously it's after Robocop 1, but is it after 2? 3?

Nuke was in the demo, so I'm leaning to 'after 2,' but it's possible it takes place in the lead up to 2.

Does anyone know? If so where did you find out?

Wikipedia says 'after robocop 2." That's the best I found so far.

Looks like I answered it, but if anyone else wants to know, I found in the bottom of the description this, if anyone else is looking.

and if you watched the recent gameplay trailer shows a certain robot in it, a few really but one that anyone would recognize if they ever played robocop vs terminator watched the second movie.
