Would Like to See a Judge Dredd Game Next

If the devs are looking to make more games based on iconic action films with cult followings, which seems to be their strong suite, I really hope Judge Dredd can be next on their list. The graphic novels were so good, and the movie with Karl Urban was tons of fun. There really hasn't been much in the gaming space for this character, the most recent one that I can think of is Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death https://www.gog.com/en/game/judge_dredd_dredd_vs_death

Yeah I'd love a new Judge Dredd game. The world, characters and lore are so untapped in the gaming world (and film).

Good luck getting that to happen. Rebellion owns all the rights and after the failure response of Dredd vs. Death and the epic failure of Dredd, they have no plans to release ANYTHING with the title besides new comics. A card game, The Scorched Earth, came out a few years ago and that's about it.

Dredd is SUCH a good film.
But yeah, Rebellion are unlikely to greenlight another Dredd game any time soon. A shame, as I'd love to see them try some kind of imsim with it or similar.

Judge Dredd would be cool as an open world title. Crime everywhere and you have to bring order into the chaos, maybe free sector for sector. You get calls from other Judges, you self can call them, people ask you for help. There is a big map where you see who is in control of what sector and what crimes are happening in real time, where the other Judges are. Maybe even Co-Op.

Thats pretty ambitious, unless this game sells really well, I don't see Teyon doing something on that scale.

We kinda have this in Cyberpunk 2077, but having it in the Judge Dredd setting would be way cooler.
