Unfortunately, part 3 had the misfortune of being Terminator 2 sequel and was forced to retcon T2's ending in order to continue the storyline.(Part 3 was also forced to change John Conner's actor because he had lots of real life problems.)
No, it wasn't. It had a really good ending, which made us think that it was better and left us with (kind of) a good feeling about the movie, but let's face seriously. The Terminatrix was annoying, terrible, absurd....
Sadly, both franchises after the second movie felt into a deep hole...
