I play with 50 gater cap.
I have an ryzen 9, geforce rtx 4090, 32gb ram and in the endgame the game gets unplayable after around 1 or 2 hours. Meanwhile all components are at 10-20% of their cap.
After restarting the game it works fine again for these 1 or 2 hours.
I experienced now that it has also to do with the bots and energy.
I had a really big power room, cause I linked most of the planets and had not yet the unlimited power source.
I built the unlimited power source and sold all other power sources -> less lags/FPS drops.
I sold all empty power room tiles -> heavy lags/FPS drops, while the bots sold the tiles. (maybe too much to do for the bots?!)
After that -> no lags/FPS drops for 4 hours now.
I've never seen nor played a simulation game which didn't suffer from reduced performance in the late game. I think such a game don't even exist. I'm not saying that this game is actually well optimised in any capacity... But seriously... Some people should look into a mirror and repeat their message while looking at themselves and maybe they'd realise how ridiculous it sound.
It helped me a lot against the stuttering turning on AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2; maybe it can help someone else too :-)
