Notifications: Easy to miss
I think notifications/game log need (ideally with tune-able settings) to be easier to notice.

Everything goes in the log, which is fine as a start, but there is no pop up for important things(past the first time it happens tutorial box) no notification sounds etc.
Not everything needs more attention(unless we want it, which is where settings would be cool). Like discovering new theories, once they start coming in steadily I really don't need to know about it anymore, but when a Gater dies in surgery, or just in general it'd be nice to know, so a distinct sounds to draw attention to log, or a popup.

I know its already in the log, its probably even colour coded, but there is so much there its easy to miss if you aren't actively looking at it. and why would I be looking at it? most of the stuff happening I don't care about(but it is still nice to have, in case I want to look, but I NEED to know that I want to look!)

Hopefully I don't come across as complaining too much.
This was an issue that sort of just crept up on me, you don't really notice the lack of audio feedback for events, until you wonder why there is a random body bag lying on the floor, and oh, its because someone died a few days ago but you had no idea.

Got my vote. I get so involved in managing that I have to force myself to review the log from time to time.
Having an option to set an alarm for certain types of messages (as in the Hearts of Iron game) would be nice.
