Will the performance degration ever be fixed ?

While in early game, it may take multiple hours, but in lategame, i have about 50-60 minutes before the sound starts desynching and the game starts lagging to ultimately crash.
I play on a i9-14900hx with 64 gb ram, a rtx4090 and a 4tb nvme ssd, all drivers up to date, so i doubt its a hardware issue.
This problem occured on every playthroug since i bought the game.

Wow how large a base do you have? I have a much weaker system than you have and don't see any degradation at 60 exo-gaters and 19 teams.

Sorry about that! it's a tough one that may or may not appear and usually after a long play session.
We are hopeful to solve it after each update, only to discover it still happen to some players. We continue to investigate, do not hesitate to share your save using the in game report tool if you spot some specific conditions where the issue appear.

for those of us that dont speak programmer... finding a punctuation mark that is either missing or incorrect is a pita.... and takes a lot of time. thats what this bug is, and it sucks. The work around at this time sucks but it has to be done... every hour or so stop playing / save / reboot game.

I find that after 3-4 hours of the game running that it will start lagging pretty bad, at times stop responding without crashing. ultimately quitting and reloading the game will fix it for about another 3-4 hours. but by that point im done for the day.

loading a save with a large staff does the same thing. application not responding until it decides to load
