Missing Scenarios?

So I can't for the life of me find a solution to this issue, the only thread here that mentions the same problem doesn't provide any and is years old. I know there are atleast two scenarios that sid Meir released with Colonization, but all I have is worldsav scenario. I'm a big fan of the Civ series and was totally baffled by the idea that this game didn't have any world scenarios. But I'm glad to say that there are two scenarios released with this game, I just apparently don't have them and I can't find them anywhere to download. Anyone here have a solution?

Maybe. Did that person tell you, or are you guessing what they are thinking?

Assuming that what you say about that other person is correct, then please be aware that it is you 2 who suppose that. The game makers didn't claim that, did they? Steam editions can be different to the non-Steam versions of games. "Shoulds" are subjectivem, in your mind, and vary from person to person. There is no "should" out here in the real world.

How about those of you who are concerned about this contact the companies that put the game on Steam (2K, valve, etc.)? That is an appropriate action. Complaining here will make no difference to this issue. Frankly, I'd like more game maps, too. But talking about it here won't achieve it. I won't take action, aside from this comment, because I have other priorities. All the best to you.

Actually they are right when I bought the game (before steam) it did have 4 options. It never did on steam, which at the time I thought was odd. They are absolutely right it did in fact have 4 options for maps on the original disc. It's not a belief it's personal experience, I owned that disc version of CIV colonization. Of course I can't find that disc to save my life grrrr.

You are correct, it did have 4 options. If you want to still play them, you can use this mod to play the original maps: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=19763

If anyone is still interested. If you go into the beta tab, of the steam properties of the game, and switch the version to original_release_unsupported, this will give you access to the old maps.
