Patch 1.01f?

A few years ago, I bought this game on a disc and downloaded it, so I don't have it on Steam. I recently wanted to try out TAC, but it doesn't run on the version that I have (1.00). I tried searching for an update, but it said there were none available, and when I tried to find version 1.01 on the Firaxis site, it was no longer there. Is there any way I can get version 1.01 without having to spend another 20 dollars to get this game on Steam?
