Linux works great
I'm currently using ubuntu my screen, once I hit start, starts flashing random colors that are subdued. I can hear intro movie but see nothing once it get to the end it stays the same and is impossible to pick any thing to play as. I can also at times see my steam screensof friends and notications it appears to not be using Steam Play! I forgot to do the most mundane thing check you file integraty that fixed the issues

Sorry to hear that.... I suggest you try Steam Support (click "Help" in the top lefthand area of this Steam page, and then when the menu opens, click on "Steam Support").

Are You using linux by chance or Win?

I was able to run this game on Linux using PlayOnLinux. Apart from some misaligments due to the default font used, didn't feel any difference. Just use the script inside it to install Steam and install the game from there. It will run a Windows version of Steam using Wine.
Been a while tho, maybe things changed around, but definitely worth a shot.

yes I know but it still has issues her and there. I've tried reinstalling it worked one time prior to upgrading my drivers .. but it is a file and path issue I believe Steam keeps sending file to a dead link according to Linux.

okay issues and non issues and old issues. The other day I posted about my games any one that I played then started the Zero update path some pointed me to a thread that wasn't there.. I could read it when he pointed it out but not when I went to move my issue to there thread.. I've since found that old issues don't apply .. what do I mean it depends on the ver of steamos your running expample playing and older game civ4 colonization works fine in 3.7.6 but crashes like all get out on 3.7.7 beta.. and when I had the 0 upgrade issue I was playing in 3.7.7 it doesn't not happen in 3.7.6 but if your attempting to test then you need to report the issues of the version your testing .. and so the one who pointed out his old thread was incorrectly doing so. I've had that issue in window 10 and had to wait for steam to accknowledge it and fix it in there program!
