Or it doesn't support neither of the two ..!
Like for an AMD gpu to support FSR3, you need an RDNA3 gpu these day's.
And iam one of the lucky ones who recently bhought an RDNA3 GPU (7800XT).
but the game needed to be patched too to have FSR3 implemented though !
Must say, i have like near 200FPS FSR3 + Frame generation enabled on that gpu :P
Even whit RT (ray tracing) enabled i still have min 80 - 90 up to 140+fps)
But i've noticed the higher the graphics settings the more frame latency there is !!!
NOT SILK SMOOT at ALL anymore 0_0!! So , there's still some work to be done for amd to improve that ↑ !!
Cheers,
Yep that too ↑ ...
I have noticed , more and more newer games just WON't let you change the settings to even > high ..; Even though you select custom preset !!!
That some weird algorythm they have put in their games to analyze your hardware or something !?
FSR3 is supported by most of modern GPUs, Frame Gen is supported on 6000 and 7000 series on AMD and 2000, 3000 and 4000 series on Nvidia
Now there's where you got it wrong halas!
To make use of frame gen , meaning to have the option to turn on framegen your GPU need to support FSR3 to begin whit... And be CAREFULL now to what i write..
Only HIGH TIER amd 6000 gpus supports FSR3 !! so, RX 6000 up to RX6750XT no FSR3 support !!!
since, FSR3/Framegen is RDNA3 ONLY tech !
Just want to caution ppl who read this... !
I can be wrong about this, and FSR3 might work on older cards... but older cards will have an hard time sustain decent fps on newer games to make good use of Framegen anyway .. So..
Cuz if native fps is low already , you bet you won't have fluid motion gameplay either when turning on framegen.. The hickups stutter will still be there becauese of A. poor game optimization + weak gpu / cpu !
You have no clue what you talking about. I have RX 6800, FSR3 and Frame Gen works flawlessly here. If you talking about driver based Fluid Motion that was RX 7000 exclusive before but in latest preview they also added support for 6000 series GPUs
Didn't i wrote Gpu ranging from 6600 - 6750xt = where do you see me write 6800 ?
Uh THIS ↓.. uhn This ↓, Uhn this ↓ L0^0L
Now, that's interesting... i can't reproduce that anymre since i have retturned my rx6600 for an full refund to buy an 7800xt XD .
But it's possible that some games "might" support older gpus that make use of the ingame FSR3 feature... but isn't supported by amd at driver level ...
And ofcourse and if that's true, (any rX6600 owner confirmation) , they very recently have made these changes then short after me posting this )
Because , when i still had my old rx6600, i too didn't had some features in amdcenter which high tier rxXXXX gpu's have !!
Just saying..
