Is the dialogue really that bad?

Why do people cry about the cringe dialogue when Marvel slop movies are literally cringy dialogue?
The Sonic movies and Mario movie are ultra cringe.
I'm considering buying Forspoken tho

The most of the dialogue is banter between Cuff and Frey is Marvel-level crap for the most part and apart from that there are some more somber moments that are really good and some side-quest "worldbuilding" dialogues that are pretty bad and wooden. Most of the stuff that is meant to be "cringe" just slapstick comedy that people pretend is meant to be taken seriously for some reason.

Honestly, I like the talking!
Just played through the demo, I like characters talking while playing, makes the playthrough less boring.
Im buying this! I hope the demo is not patched and I get better fps....

I think the demo is patched and you will have similar performance in the full game. Try lowering the model details to low and see if that fixes your FPS issues.

Yeah, it is a monster from a performance perspective. I don't think it is playable without some kind of upscaler and lowering the details at all.

The English voice over is really bad. I changed it to French (my native language) something I never do.

Banter between Frey and Cuff is OK, it's the story dialogs that are absymal. But frankly, the rest of the game (open world, parkour and combat) is worth it. Right now I'm nearing 60 hours in the game, on a second playthrough.
