You wanna know why This game flopped Square Enix ?

The Absurd price YOU SET ! This game is literally above 100$ WITH TAXES APPLIED ! Who in the Dumbest mind would buy a game that's above 100$ FOR JUST THE STANDARD EDITION !?

Usually Games like this are sold for 60-70$. NEVER more than 80$. I'm sorry to say this Square Enix, but you deserved this failure.

Square Enix are a greatly overpriced brand. Just look at what they sell old remasters and rereleases for.

Overrated brand, overrated games, no respect for their customers, shoddy pc versions. Their value is in nostalgia as they haven’t really made anythiing awesome in years.

and i'll refuse to buy them until they are on sale along with a lot of people which means less sales and then maybe the publishers will realise we the customer hold the power not them.

Most AAA games aren't worth the price they are asking anyway. And Forspoken is 80 € on Steam!!! That's 20 € more than most AAA games.

Again, why should we pay for their poor management and decision-making?

This game is not even worth 30$, Indie games are better than this trash. Some stores even give out copies for free, otherwise they are thrown in the garbage.

Not only that. The game has been doomed from the start as absolutely nobody, nobody liked the cringe dialogues, one-liners and the main characters whatsoever.

I mean, it's under-performing according to Square Enix's expectations. So possibly the studios should get used to people not buying their games on release with the pricing structure they are planning?

Because my opinion is just as important and has as much value, as you shilling for overpriced games.
If you can't handle that, maybe start to avoid forums from now on.

Development cost is out of control in video game industry, especially for AAA games. I have a good feeling that AI will be the next evolution when it comes to game development. When we have AI fully implemented, we could have real time physics simulation without motion captures and even real time dialog system where it doesn't require prerecorded Voice overs.

Just because AAA went full corporation mode. With hiring bloat, wasting money and giving themselves(management) large bonuses. While delivering broken, average or bad products, while often using scummy practices to extrac even more money from anyone dumb enough to buy their garbage.

Isn't it wonderful that with practicing patience, these garbage can be avoided and ignored. My condolences do go to those hardworking developers. But I do find solace to the game's demise and continue to see similar fates to others that thread the similar mediocrity.

It is not only the price, I would not even play it for 10€. There are even games for free which are better.
