What's the difference between Demo and Full game?
Hi,

could anyone shed some light on the demo vs full game difference?
In terms of the game start and other functionality do I miss anything if I start demo and then decide to buy a full game?
Or demo is just a limited full story release game?

That feature is for timed trials not demos. Do not worry yourself too much. Just buy the game and be mindful of the gameplay time return window if you don't like it. But of course, you'll be sitting for 2 hours watching 100 minutes of cutscenes and 20 minutes gameplay so better commit yourself to spending in full or help teach devs like this a lesson and save your money for when it goes on sale probably next month with the way things are going.

From what I have seen it time skips. Everything at the beginning that it skips you experience first before entering that other world in the demo. They just skipped that part so players could experience the combat and other gameplay aspects. Since most of beginning is mostly just dialogue scenes prepping the story.

Yes most likely all progress will be lost. Atleast gives players plenty of time to feel the game out.

i would not be suprised if the so called DEMO is and older version of the game, and might even run worse than the actual full game with updates

Tried the demo and it ran very poorly. Mid system: Ryzen 7 5700G, RX 5700 XT, 32gb trident ram ddr4 3600MHz, Win 11.
Tried RSR, high settings, low settings and no joy. Graphics were pretty meh, stutters and slowdowns. With the amount of full release version reviews criticizing performance, I understand and have no interest in purchasing the game.

Yes you will have to start all over in the actual game. The demo let you play around with spells you will not have tell way later in the game.

I would try the demo to make sure your pc can handle it. I am running 3090 rtx and have to play 4k balanced dlss everything else at standard settings except shadows and models on high...I can run 60fps outdoors..but within the walls of castles I drop to 48fps.

You don't start with the fire sword and instead have to throw rocks. I wish I was joking.
