Games like Elden Ring. Or Fire Emblem. Or Nioh 2 and Wo Long (we'll have to wait and see for Wo Long though).
This game... I don't know what they were thinking. I wouldn't buy this game even at 50% discount or more.
Their games get worse and worse and now the pricing for them makes it just worse...
Same. It's tragic how low they have fallen.
And that's just one aspect of the larger discussion. Once people saw the game, read into the world's story, and it's trends, well... even more worrisome.
My takeaway from when i first watched the Forspoken reveal, is i was kind of beside myself doing a bit of a doubletake, because i honestly thought this was one of those fancy SquareEnix tech demos they used to make to show off new technology and game effects within their engines- not an actual video game; because it looked so ..(i don't know) ..mediocre? bland? soulless?
we are currently in this first stages of this transition. another decade or two when cloud gaming becomes the norm, it'll get much worse.
I disagree.
It is their fault because they (as a Publisher) review games they want to Publish.
They just contract any developer company and publish their games giving not the dev company but the publisher which in this case is SquareEnix a bad name.
We seen it with Outriders too and now this game.
Whoever reviews and sign contracts with developer companies should get replaced.
They made/published the most amazing games in the past.
But now?
It just feels like a sinking ship where the crew is the reason why it sinks.
I am sure it be cheaper and better then this. Just shop around why given big globalist shareholding companys your money.
80 € is definitely not ok. In comparison with consoles, publishers don't have to pay license fees on PC. There should be a notable difference between console and PC prices based on that fact alone.
