Is there a way to navigate or find the nightmare boss when inside the Breakstorm?
Been struggling to find the boss of these nightmare to the point sometimes I'm running across the map and still inside of it. Is there a way to navigate like for example following the flow of the wind, but I tried that and didn't do anything. I thought it's like Ghost of Tsushima where you have to follow the wind. So is there a definitive way to find the nightmare boss, I'm tired of fighting endless nightmares, it's not even fun.

You can actually run straight past them as you don't need to find them.

I'm trying to end all these breakstorms for good, I only ever beat the Gyro one, the jabberwock ended before I can kill it, so I need to find a way to find them.

Yeah I was in a couple and wanted to fight the boss but couldn't see it anywhere. Saw the health bar at one point but never saw the actual boss.

I wish there's a definitive way to do it

There really should be. I wonder if it's bugged or if it's an oversight. lol It doesn't really make sense that it would be so hard to find.

Lol yeah, especially when some of these breakstorms just don't want to end, almost running across a region to get out of it :jf_kon:

Have you tried to sleep during the storms? That's how you get them to go away temporarily. Which will allow you to explore that area without the noise.

There are a few scenarios that won't work because the storms are part of the experience. But generally, if you don't want a storm. Go to sleep.

The concept of the storms is they won't go away. But they are a non-issue really.

There is no reason to do this.

There are encounters that require you clear a specific amount of mobs for a POI, and that will resolve that area.

But you shouldn't be fighting nightmares just to fight them. That serves no purpose and is communicated in game.

There are different kind of breakstorm, the one that causes by point of interest and the one that causes by the giant nightmare. The point of interest one is easy to dealt with as you can just complete what ever causes it, whether it's ruins, guild tower, fort, etc..

Then we have the other one, that caused by the giant nightmare, there's a giant nightmare in the eye of the storm where you can beat them for good. The problem is most of the time it's really hard to navigate and find them. If you manage to kill the giant nightmare that caused it, that particular breakstorm will be gone for good.

So finally I have encountered three of the giant nightmares Gyre, Jabberwock, Bandersnatch and I manage to eliminate Gyre, and just now Bandersnatch, but fail to do so with the Jabberwock, as I encountered it early in the game. I notice that there's a timer for these boss battle, they will disappear after certain time if not killed, so if you passed that they will be gone and have to find it all over again.

I have completed all there is to do in the game (well, maybe not opening all the boxes there is in the game), but I feel like missing something if I don't beat all the giant nightmares and clear the breakstorm for good. I believe there are four of them.
