Seriously - What is replay-ability like?
yes the game is special i give you that.
I'm not sure yet but there was a lot of extra content I had skipped when I decided I reached a point to focus mostly on the story.
You're a special sheep clown. Enjoy that. Maybe one day you'll think for yourself. Good luck.
TY
@Simbolic some side quests become available after completing the main storyline. I haven't gone into those yet though so unsure what they are like.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
1. Pacing is pretty bad, you get dumped with dialogue followed by lengthy amount of play, the end just dumps an insane amount of dialogue on you (most of which is repeating the same thing over and over again). To be honest I lost my patience at the end. How many times and in how many different ways do I need to know "the power is within you"?
It's also bizarre how the game gives you the final spell school and then immediately prompts you to fight the final boss before having a chance to play around with it. The game also never leads you to return to the north area after you leave it during the tutorial. Seems like they cut the game short?
2. The spell/battle mage combat is among the best I've ever seen. Very fluid, great how you can freely switch between schools and spells with the only factor being cooldown which can be hasted with attacks. I just wish the ultimates were a little more varied than big AoE attack with a minor nuance like poison or vacuum.
My only criticism is that sometimes you can get chain stunned for a little too long.
3. The banter, even on the default normal setting, is too much and too repetitive. Don't need to say ace in the hole 5 times per encounter. There is some nice contextual banter but the generic stuff needed to be more varied and less frequent. The only other setting is to disable it completely.
I assume everyone also has this, when you run out of stamina the dialogue suggests you have died or are near death. Likely unintentional.
But on a sidenote, this game is very understaffed, when I roll up the credit, the programming/art team are less than 50 people, it's any 1/20, 1/10 the size of AC, GTA studio
Logically, the final charpter is kind rushed.
The other complain I have is that the 3rd tanta zone is hella ugly, it has potential to be the best looking region in the game, but they just decide to cover it with a huge saturated geen overcast, my least favriate region in the game
