Is this game fixed now?
I'm reading the reviews and a lot of the reviews mention crashes or skipping in the game. Have all these issues been fixed now?

IME it is very playable; I played it after the last mayor update and didn't experience any crashes or bugs or whatever.

I am so tempted to buy it, was a massive fan of the OG game and remember taking my time installing it on all those CD's it came with.

From what I have read it sounds like this is the gimped version, I don't know how they could have messed something this up so bad. I will still probably get it since it was one of my favourite games when I was younger.

I do hope they fix all the issues with it since this game deserves it.

The game had a trashy launch, but they have patched it and fixed most of the errors.
A few bugs exist that might affect some Achievements, but it's now playable.

It also includes the "original" version without enhancements or Steam charting.

You can buy this game with confidence, now.

What do you mean the original version without steam charting?

As in it doesn't offer Steam Achievements or enhancements.
It's called 'Blade Runner Classic', and described on the store page.
...So, I meant exactly what I said.

Ah ok. So if i play it in classic mode i can't unlock achievements? is that right?

Whats the enhanced edition like now?

Sorry for all the questions. Was looking at buying it but would prefer to play classic whilst being able to unlock achievements if possible. Not a deal breaker on the achievements but would be nice to have.

Both versions are quite playable. A big issue at launch was that the 'Enhanced Edition' (EE) had game-breaking bugs that prevented people from finishing the game.
Those have all been fixed.
The differences between versions are mostly cosmetic, and the opinions about the quality vary widely across player preferences. There is even extra, 'restored' playable content available.

If you're a fan of the game/franchise, you really can't go wrong with this buy.

OK great. Thanks very much. Wishlisted for now but will grab once a sale drops. Appreciate your time. Take care.

Glad to help!
Personally, I found the EE version on Steam to be most-attractive for the additional graphics & achievements -- but I suffered greatly at launch, because I was relegated to an ancient (but capable) videocard.

I already owned the classic version on GOG, so I was paying for the extra bells & whistles.
Sadly, the Classic cut won't be able to earn Achievements, but your playtime will still count.
Not at all. Among the thousand bugs that forced me to restart the game because I couldn't proceed, now I can't proceed beyond the third shooting range, I can get at maximum to the point showed in this photo https://imgur.com/a/HOJpYg8 , but the voice tells me to proceed to the next shooting range, I don't know what do.If I don't solve I will have to ask steam for a refund

@Music Lasagna Gamer I was able to get through the shooting range no problem on mine, but oddly, regardless of how poorly or how well I did, I still popped the associated achievements. I'm pretty sure I shot a lot of people and missed a lot of enemy targets and yet still accomplished the achievements. Outside of that, the game has been fine for me.

How is the controller support ? I want to play on TV. And subtitles are included I assume.

Just finished playing through the game myself - didn't have any issues at all. I used KB+M though I'm afraid, so I've got no info on controllers
