very difficult or almost impossible make parallel track with slopes

Hello , in chapter two , when you try to connect two stations with a river in the middle, you can make the first track adjusting the rail height , so you have some slopes. Then you try to make a parallel track, using ALT key , you can't built it. I get some message about that you can't build in that way.
is this something you are already trying to fix ? do you need the saved game file ?

im pretty sure 11 out of 10 people played this game would have the same concern, i ended up saving more cash and make a straight track...

Yeah, this is something that definitely needs to be added as you build track...just lay 2 parallel tracks as a settable option.

when tracks are on flat surface , no issue with the parallel tracks pressing ALT key.
it's more difficult when there are slopes. Sometime I had to make the second track a little bit far from the first or drawing the second track step by step trying to follow the slops of the first one.

Drawing long parallel tracks is incredibly tedious for sure. Like most things in the game it is an endless series of pointless and unnecessary clicks.

They need to just add an option to lay multiple parallel sets of track simultaneously int he track laying tool as an option.

Chapter 3 is even worse due to the terrain and I have given up in sheer frustration. Will start playing again when its patched. Going back train world.

There is a bug when you build slopes with Alt pressed. This block is caused by this bug. You may get rid of it, but you'll have to rebuild. Please, try to build slopes without holding Alt key.
