I bet some of you, just like me, feel a little hungry for more deduction games. We all know about obra dinn, but if you know of other games please shere it here.

As for me, I found this:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1247940/Greyhat__A_Digital_Detective_Adventure/

Little rough around the edges, but nonetheless very enjoyable hacker-detective game. There is a demo version, so you can try it before buying.

I was going to ask if anyone know of any others. I looked at Greyhat and played the first section of the demo solving the prologue but then it just dumped me at the fake pc screen and I was not sure if there was more.

I wish listed it though. Looked close enough and has good reviews

I have it and played it but never finished it. I should probably try it again.

I cannot count and write all good detective games I played. But I can recommend a few games with looking for text clues. For those who enjoyed Papers, Please aswell:
Orwell
Song of Farca (kinda bugged and has a bit of teenage-rebellious take on story, but I truly enjoyed it)
Her story
Though these games didn't quite impressed me like The Case of Golden Idol but did help scratch this mind-not-legs-detective itch.
I also heard that Observer is good but haven't tried it yet.
Here's one that's not out yet. It probably won't be closely similar, but it'll be more similar than the Painscreek killings was. You investigate scenes and have to fill in some answers.
There's a demo you can try.

Return of the Obra Dinn (ok this one's obvious)
The Painscreek Killings (search an abandoned town for clues)
Paradise Killer (first-person island exploration, lots of suspect interrogation)

I must say that I am enjoying this one so far after an hour or so. Thanks for the recommendation.

Similar amount of observation and collecting keywords. Puzzle out how to influence each vignette.

Another one from me. But this time, more unconventional.

Free browser game that's almost 2 decades old. Goal is simple, get to next page by any means possible. Quite (in)famous, for high difficulty and zero handholding.

I enjoyed Legal Dungeon a few years back. It's not perfect but worth a look.
