How is that this game has no translation yet? Is not that much text
Please note that the game was developed with the GODOT game engine, which has localization support out-of-the-box. Each resource in GODOT can be translated, including game elements such as letters and newspapers. So, unless the developers misused the game engine, translations should be supported with just minor code changes. The question is if the developers are willing to invest that the time and effort to sell just a handful of extra copies...
- Clickable localizable text in Godot 3.5 is not that easy, you can either use RichTextLabel and [url] tag but you can't customize the underline, the default one is too thin to be used, or you can use RichTextEffect but you don't have enough data to set the right coordinate of the clickable area easily meaning that you have to do a lot of calculations.
- Scroll in the thinking panel are hard to localize as you have to move word slot and text for each language, you have the same kind of issue as above.
It's not impossible, it's just too much work/time/money for a small team and for a small game.
I took a look at the code, saw that text has hardcoded x and y coordinates in which they have to appear, and understood that the developers were probably not going to go back to this game and spend so much time and effort giving it an infraestructure that better supports localization when they could just streamline the process in its next game, which is more likely to sell.
I'd say the correct thing to do would be to manage your expectations, given the situation. No?
Por fin hay una versión en Español pero para traducirlo han tenido que rehacer el juego en Unity.
Quien quiera jugar esta maravilla en Español lo tiene para móviles gratis con Netflix.
Donde lo han rehecho en Unity para jugarlo al Español?
