Play events with friends?

Is there no way to party up and do events with friends? Only the normal queue? Seems like a really odd restriction. Got my friends to download the game for the Pac-Man collab and I don't think we can even play it together?

you could, you gotta time it to click 'play' on the event at the same time with your friend, me and my friend in discord would count 3 to 1 and click play and would see if we land in the same queue or not by matching the lobby (for example im 32/32 and my friends lobby is also 32/32). It is weird that the dev didnt include that

That would be fine but queues fill nearly instantly for me (especially since the event is so new)

I've opened up a ticket here and would encourage others to do the same if they want this feature. The more people who voice their opinion the more likely it gets implemented. Cheers!

Just hit the chat bubble in the bottom right and go through the process to eventually give feedback/suggestion
