Confusion on how to access the star book in the hidden library

So I've reached act three, and right now I'm trying to access the star book in the hidden library [the one that gives headaches]. I've been stuck on trying to do this for a bit and even looked at a few written and video walkthroughs.

One of them shows that I should talk to the story loving shopkeeper about secret hidden rooms and the other shows that the closet in the gardening room had something in it that mentioned the star tree book. For the lady, I tried to talk to her and all that came up was talking about the "hypothetical" with the Mira's change god blessing. I don't know what else I have to look at or who else to talk to to trigger the shop lady conversation nor find interest in the books in the gardening closet.
It also mentions that I should look at the glittering diary and I did that but nothing else was triggered.

I'm just thoroughly confused on what exactly to do

You're early! That book isn't accessible until act four.
You've got other stuff to accomplish before you go investigating that book.

Oh okay! It's a little strange because I've already helped out all of my friends and went through to the end not once but twice when helping them, I talked to Loop and they say I can't do anything more to learn about the loops, and when I ask about the King it only shows a "..." and then says I should go ask the king about it. But when I go back to the king I only have three dialogue options and not the "what should I remember" one.

I'm trying to think if there's anything else I can do to progress the story if I can't do anything else with the friends hang outs and finding more about the loops

Yeah you've gotta do something with the King. There are some interactions throughout the House that you might need to go through before that dialogue option. I think there's one with an Article on the first floor... and I don't remember the rest off the top of my head.

Yeah you've gotta do something with the King. There are some interactions throughout the House that you might need to go through before that dialogue option. I think there's one with an Article on the first floor... and I don't remember the rest off the top of my head.

The article on the first floor, the Observatory on the third, and the mirror on the third floor as well, I think.
